Family Stay-cation

For our vacation this year we desided to do something local. We found a Connect Pass that allowed us to visit 13 places in 1-3 days. We didn't make it to all of them, but we had a blast going to many of them. We started out Tuesday going to the Hogle Zoo in the morning, then for the afternoon we went to the U of U Museum of Natural History. Wednesday we went to This is the Place in the morning, The Lion House Pantry for lunch, Gateway Discovery for the afternoon and caught a show of BUGS at Clark's Planitarium in the evening. Thursday we headed south to Thanksgiving Point where we saw their beautiful gardens and the Museum of Life Science. On the way home we stopped by the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was a great opportunity to go to a lot of places I've been wanting to check out for some time. What a lot of fun things we can do right here locally! 1. That's awesome, where did you get that pass? I would love to do something like that! It would be a crazy three days, but all that stuff seperate is expensive! I cannot believe how big Marissa looks in these pictures, she is so grown up!

You can choose 1-3 days and yes the last day was take it easy day! You'll want to check the individual websites, too. We missed Red Butte Garden because they had a concert that night and closed early. I thought it was a different day but had my dates mixed up. We still saw plenty of stuff though!
Yes! It's amazing since Marissa turned 8 she's not only getting taller, but she's acting so much older, too!:)
